Pretty? Yep! So I decided to give it a whirl. I also noticed that they were similar to the inspiration layout for the Moxie Fab World - Finding Inspiration in a Layout Challenge.
So I used both as my inspiration for this card...
You know how you get a card 80% there and you can't quite figure out how to finish it off? That was this card. I had the base all finished but couldn't figure out what I wanted as my main image. At 4:00 AM this morning it came to me. :) The words on the music background are children's songs around wind, parks, and kids and the paper was from Fly a Kite.
The final burst of inspiration was to layer a sheet of vellum and use the fabulous Hero Arts cloud stamp and ink it up with Versamark and stamp it on the vellum add some of the beautiful Pebbles Inc chalk and you have soft clouds wafting behind your kite!

ReplyDeleteknow exactly what you mean - I've been walking round a piece all afternoon trying to work out how to finish it. this is gorgeous. lovely floaty feeling to it and the shape and matching elements (string, red bows and button) are brill.
