I am playing along in the Moxie Fab World Challenge - Signs of Peace...
I had bought this Northwoods Stamp which is a peace sign as my girls are both very much into the peace signs. So this challenge is the perfect time to bring it out and create a few cards. (yes I have others sitting on my desk unfinished but hopefully coming to a channel near you soon. :)
I finished one of the cards and hope to get the others done otherwise the pieces will go into the infamous scrap pile that is ever multiplying.
Without further ado...
I had a lot of fun creating the panel with the Peace signs. I used a combination of dye inks and misting to get the soft water color look. I also wanted to create an effect with the ribbon similar to what the kids are doing with the ribbon on their flip flops and tied on bits and pieces on the main ribbon. (Great way to use up little ribbon scraps too!)
I am very excited to be going to the CHA show this week so will be busy Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday perusing all the latest releases and meeting up with some friends! So things might be a little quiet here this week as I will be out and about. If I can get some more crafty time today I will see if I can finish up my other peace cards and share them with you!
Peace Out!
(My youngest loves to say that!)
