I was inspired by the CR84FN Colors and the Moxie Fab World challenges for paper piecing and stamping with markers. When I was working on my CR84FN projects I was trying different techniques and ended up creating a smooshed background using acetate, water color markers and my water mister.
The flower (Hero Arts) and butterfly (Memory Box) are stamped on the background created from the watercolor markers. The flower was stamped six times and cut out and curled and layered. The background was stamped using a light green dye ink and the Hero Arts Flourish. The sentiment is from Hero Arts.
The next card is a baby card. I had this sweet sentiment from Verses called: Wee bit of Heaven (FM0241-F) and the greens and pinks seemed suitable for a baby card.
The little hippo and bird were stamped with Versafine Smokey Gray and colored using watercolor pencils and a waterbrush.
Have a lovely Monday!
