Welcome to the blog hop celebrating Lily Pad Cards first birthday! If you arrived here from Isha you are in the right place. If you haven't started the hop yet, head over to the Lily Pad Cards and start from the beginning.
I created a few birthday cards to celebrate!
My first card features the lovely Jumbo Cling Cottage Rose from Stampendous:
I used a simple masking technique for this card. Mask the area to stamp with two piece of thin scrap paper. Stamp the flower using black archival ink over the area. Sponge the area with yellow dye ink. Color the flowers using watercolor pencils and waterbrush. The sentiment was stamped on a tag and attached with a silk ribbon. Clean and simple birthday card.
My next card features the Artistic Outpost Vintage Circus stamps:
The images were all stamped in black archival ink and colored with watercolor pencils and a waterbrush. I think the sentiment is perfect for a birthday card.
Now onto the important details!
There are fabulous prize packages being given away by Lily Pad Cards. .For all the details on the prizes go to the Lily Pad Blog.
In addition, I am also offering a wonderful prize from Stampendous on my blog! If you leave me a comment by 11:59 p.m. EST Sunday, April 8 on this post, I will have a random drawing to pick a winner to receive the fabulous Stampendous Cottage Rose CRS5034 and Friendly Phrase SSC1141 used on my first card. These are new stamps being released today!
The next stop on the hop is the fabulous Lawn Fawn! If you hit a bad link you can always go back to Lily Pad to view the master list of blog links. Please report any bad links to aris@inlinkz.com.
