Road Trip

Welcome to the May Artistic Outpost Blog Hop!   Today the Artistic Outpost Design Team  is sharing projects featuring either Huck Finn or Route 66.

I decided to use the Route 66 plate for my project:

I used a piece of a map from an atlas including the route 66 on it... I tried to match the map by stamping the background using a gray ink on the white background and adding a touch of blue dye ink sponged around the edges.

The layout is from the Mojo Monday Sketch #241 and also playing along in Simon Says Stamp and Show Anything Goes.

  3. What a great card Sue. Ever since we did a tour and touched on Route 66 a few years ago my OH has talked about coming back specifically to follow the whole Route so this card would be perfect for him. His birthday was last month though so perhaps I should keep it in mind for next year, lol!
