Wreath of Butterflies

I used this  wood wreath. to create my butterfly wreath: 

I spent some serious time cutting and coloring on this wreath. :)  The Stampendous Cling Jumbo Magnolia was stamped multiple times using Ranger Archival ink on yellow glimmer misted tissue paper. I attached a layer of roses around the wreath.

I then stamped the butterflies from these sets: Butterflies, Jumbo Cling Butterfly on cardstock using black archival ink.  I colored the butterflies using STAEDTLER - Karat Oil Pastels.   I blended the pastels using a soft nib.  To finish off the butterflies they were inked up with Versamark Ink pad and dipped in clear embossing powder and heated.  I repeated this three times with each butterfly.  I only used the versamark with the first coat.  I used my steel tweezers with a rubber handle to dip them while they were still hot into the embossing powder for the second and third coat. I added a touch of black glass glitter to the centers of the butterflies.
