School Days and Happy News

Hello!  I am happy to announce that I am joining the extremely talented design team at the Frilly and Funkie challenge. Today it's the Funkie DT's turn to play along with Jenny's challenge "Enjoy your Embossing"   over at Frilly and Funkie. Here's what she says about the challenge; "Make a vintage or shabby chic project of your choice and remember to include some embossing. Use your favourite embossing methods (wet, dry, heat, or any other techniques you want to share) - just enjoy your embossing!"
I have been hoarding this sweet paper from Graphic 45 and wanted to create a fun Valentine's card for my daughter.

I die cut the adorable image from the paper and then layered a few other pieces of the paper over an embossed background.

The background is black embossing paste using the measure stencil on a kraft background.  I had a cute sentiment from Memory Box that works perfectly with the school days image.

The Design Team will choose their top four picks with the winner being invited to join us in a Guest DT spot at Frilly and Funkie and the next three will receive badges to display on their blogs. Everyone who enters and follows the rules will have a chance to win a $25 spending spree at The Funkie Junkie Boutique.

Thanks for stopping by!
