After it dried I sponged on brown dye ink using the stencil. While it was wet I heat embossed with embossing glaze.
I wanted to show you how the embossing glaze adds texture and depth of color. I stamped the same image in brown archival ink and then sprinkled on the embossing glaze.
You can see the paper wasn't dry from my first coat of antique linen spray so the entire image was glazed with the embossing glaze. It made it much more rich in color.
I pulled from the snaps, ribbon spools and safety pins to accent my cards.

Brilliant! I was originally thinking of trying to avoid the automatic pairing of sewing with women, but forgot all about it... so happy to see you took that leap for all our sakes!! I love the burlap scraps and those wonderful cotton reel labels.

Suzz, we can always count on your to put on your creative thinking cap and make something that totally surprises us! I did my best to try and come up with a masculine theme, and all I got was fried brains! I love how you've used the embossing glazes; aren't they the best! Cool use of your snaps and scissors, too! An amazing pair of cards, my friend!

I love how you've created those gorgeous collaged backgrounds and must admit that I could just imagine the second gentleman (tailor in my head) at home deciding that lockdown now meant he would need to take his sewing sheers to his luscious locks xx
