Travel book

I decided to create a travel book inspired by the tag I created for Tag Tuesday. The stamping overlays was so much fun, I thought why not create a little book that could be used to journal, capture tickets or other odds and ends and hold small pictures.

This is my book and it was so much fun to stamp in multiple colors and ideas. The most fun was to see which stamps I had that I could use to create the different pages. I tried not to re-use any stamps in the different pages.

The cover was created using one of my favorite stamps from Hero Arts (map stamp) and one of my new favorites from Memory Box (Create, Discover, Explore).

I stamped on the reverse side of each page.

I left a little room for writing notes. The next page I added a pocket and I purposely stamped the script background unevenly to allow for a faded look. Can I just say how much fun it is to not stamp perfectly! :)
The back of this page was a mix of stamps but I loved how the dark blue damask looks like wallpaper. That was another bonus of this was getting to try some different things with my stamps and see what I would like to use again!

The next page I finished and decided I wanted to add a pocket. I already had this stamped piece but I had cut out a circle for the tag you will see on the last page. I decided to use it anyways as it reminded me of a knot hole.

I created a tag to showcase the pocket. The last page of the book has a layer because someone meaning me... doesn't know how to check her sentiments before she stamps them. So when I finished the page I stamped the sentiment upside down.

This also has a pocket to hold other mementos. The back of the book looks like this:

Would you believe that I would once again stamp my sentiment upside down? Yep!
Well I am not going to list all the products I used in this project, but if you see something you want to know, drop me a line and I would be happy to look up which set/stamp it was.
I hope you enjoyed my travel book.
Have a lovely day!
Suzz
