Simon Says Stamp and Show a Technique
The Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge this week is to show a Tim Holtz Technique. I bopped over to his blog as he just posted some fun techniques using the transparent illusions. I had some fun playing with the techniques this morning. I created a few different pieces that I really liked. Of course that means only one of them made it onto a card. :)
I am in the midst of working on the next Artistic Outpost release. Which means all my Artistic Outpost stamps are out and on my desk and they worked beautifully with the tag I created.
I stamped The Outpost image onto a tissue tape background and embossed using a copper embossing powder. The background panel is embossed using the Tim Holtz Embossing folder and sponged using the Vintage Photo Dye ink.
The clear tag was sponged with alcohol inks and blending solution. The picture applied to the background and a light stamping over the front using StaZon ink.
Hope your week is going well..

Hi Suzanne. Love your project for a Tim Technique on Simon Says Stamp and Show's Challenge this week. Really nicely done with all the layering, embossing and alcohol inking. LOVE the vintage image of the child you did at the top left. Thanks so much for sharing your art with us at Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge.<3 Candy

ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful Sue. Love the techniques you have used. I'm in the process of using the tissue tape in a similar way but it's a DT piece for September so can't show it yet.
ReplyDeleteI love all the 'clear' elements you have used. Fabulous inspiration as always.
