Linda's tag used red and gold and I hardly ever use reds in my background. I decided to use the reds and mixed in silver as my metallic touch.
I was intrigued by the layering of the tag over the original tag and wanted to do it in a way that I could still show the embossing underneath. I decided to stamp the same pattern on vellum with a masked area for the sentiment for my top tag.
I used this beautiful Stampendous Tinsel Silver embossing powder for my vellum tag which gives it an additional shimmer. The bird cage was in my scraps pile as was the butterfly. The butterfly was stamped using the StazOn metallic silver ink. I added touches of Stampendous Silver Halo glitter all over the tag and me and the carpet and the chair... :)
