The Stampendous current release has a lovely vintage telephone image. I was inspired to make a little message center using the image.
I had a wood alterable with three dangling wood attachments and I decided to paint them all using a mix of green and white Fresco Finish paints. (Paper Artsy)
I stamped the Jumbo Cling Border along the top and bottom of the main panel using Ranger Archival Ink. I stamped the word Messages using the new Stampendous Big Top Type. I stamped the telephone image 6 times. :) I painted cardstock to coordinate with my background and stamped on the painted cardstock. I cut out the images and pop dotted the center of the phone to add layers.
I created pockets for the post-it notes and for pens/pencils. I stamped on the pocket for the pencils and pop dotted the images behind the pocket.I didn't have any white post-it notes so I put the blue ones on to show how they work. :)
Onto a week in review... I have lots of fun posts happening this week on my blog... Tonight the Simon Says Stamp Challenge will post with another chance to win a gift certificate! All this week the Stampendous and STAEDTLER team are joining up to host a blog hop with inspiration from both teams and opportunities to win prizes! In the midst of all that Artistic Outpost is also releasing a new plate of stamps which I will be sharing with you on Wednesday!
I might also have a giveaway for the STAEDTLER & Stampendous hop here on my blog too.. (Hint Hint)
