A different challenge

I was over at Rein's blog http://stampingrika.blogspot.com/2008/08/rendevous-with.html and she had posted a challenge. The colors and collages she puts together are great. So I thought I would attempt her challenge! http://stampingrika.blogspot.com/2008/08/monday-morning-share-blog-candy.html

Here is my attempt:

You had to use one of her freebie pictures... I chose this one... http://stampingrika.blogspot.com/2008/04/monday-morning-share.html

It may be a little hard to see as I was inking on top of it. I apologize for the colors as you can't see how gold and teal they are.

Recipe:
Print the picture on glossy cardstock.
  1. Pulled out my alchohol inks. Smeared the butterscotch on the background.
  2. Dripped Stream ink on the smeared butterscotch.
  3. Dripped Alcohol blending solution directly on the stream and butterscotch.
  4. Stamped the wildflowers in StazOn inks.
  5. I also bought some washers and used my Krylon Ink Pen and colored the washers gold.

  • Ranger Alcohol Inks - Stream, Butterscotch
