I had a few more ICAD (Index Card Art) that I was playing with the prompts were Route 66 and Tree House.
My first one is from map remnants and I mixed in some stenciling and stamped images.
The tree house prompt started with me using leftover index cards stamped with wood grain.
I had stamped these backgrounds previously and ended up splattering them with some blue spray. I thought it would be fun to add the trees over the wood grain.
After I did that I played with adding a clock for a sun and some sentiments to the background. To meet the prompt I decided to cut the second card into a shape of a house. :)
Products: Darkroom Door - Trees, Darkroom Door - Wood grain, Darkroom Door - Sentiments, Stampers Anonymous, Tim Holtz - Layering Stencil, Wendy Vecchi - Black embossing paste
Have a great middle of the week!

ReplyDeleteFabulous Suzz! Love your Route 66, the map background is fabulous! The woodgrain stamp really gives a great outdoorsie feel to your tree piece. Kind of reminds me of barn art from my home town. (that's a compliment by the way, because it really is ART) lol. hugs :)
ReplyDeleteRoad Trip is a great idea for a guy card.
