I love how Oriental Poppies look... They are beautiful. Unfortunately every time I plant them they never make it through the summer. Our yard is too open and dry much less the soil conditions. This card reminded me of the beauty of poppies.

I tried creating a gate fold with an opening in the middle to showcase the inside of the card.
This is the card closed.

This is the card opened slightly. The Poppies are all stamped with StazOn Timber Brown. The brown on the white is very pretty and doesn't translate in the pictures.

The flowers are colored with watercoor pencils and blended with the waterbrush. The effect is much softer in real life.

  1. Wow, how pretty - this is so artistic!

  2. What a neat opening for your card. I like how you colored the inside but kept the outside uncolored.

  3. WOW!! This is just GORGEOUS!! Love that opening...feel a case coming on...

  4. So Pretty Suzz...Love how the card opens in the front!

  5. Another masterpiece! Love how you colored the poppies! I have the exact same success with poppies in our garden, too! Guess that makes them all the more special.......

  6. Vibrantly beautiful and I love the card fold too!
