Tim's Twelve Days of Tags

Tim is having his 12 days of tags.  I am going to play along each day if I can. This tag is inspired by his tag and is for the Stamp and Show challenge and The Artistic Stamper challenge.  Here is his first wonderful tag.  I was inspired to go a little different direction.


I used my little birdcage and bird along with some snowy branches in the background. The background is a combination of stamping, embossing, white crayon and sponging different colors.

The images are all from various Stampers Anonymous stamps School Desk CMS 057, Letter to Santa CMS 053, Artful Flight CMS069, Spring Sprung CMS084, and the sentiment is from Hero Arts Be Merry.

Inks: Ranger Distress Inks Vintage Photo, Stormy Weather, Chipped Sapphire, Aged Mahogany, Versamark and Pine Needles.

    Beautiful holiday tag! Wonderful take on Day 1 - love the snow added to the cage. The stamping and twine added to the bird are wonderful touches too!

    oh, i love your tag, suzanne! i was thinking of using the birdcage too since i don't have the dies he used. looove the pretty background and love how you did the birdcage. the birdie is so cute with his little bow. thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day! *hugs* steph :)

    Wonderful take on Tim's first tag Sue. I love all the elements and your attention to details is fantastic. Like the little bird's patterned breast and the background is fabulous.
