Artistic Outpost Monthly Blog Hop

Welcome to the June Artistic Outpost Blog Hop!   Today the Artistic Outpost Design Team  is sharing projects featuring either Apothecary or Gatsby.
I decided to use the Gatsby plate to create a Father's Day card for my dad:

I used a piece of Basic Gray paper for the background. I added several strips of black cardstock over the background.  I stamped the handsome gentleman in black on ivory cardstock.  I placed him on an oval from an old book.  I layered that over a stamped background using gray ink on white cardstock and distressed the layers.  I finished off with some stickers spelling out Happy Father's Day and feather and button.
