Kathy describes the challenge as:
"There is always something to be thankful for. In this gratitude themed challenge, we are asking you to create a vintage or shabby chic project that portrays something that fills your heart with thanksgiving. Use harvest colors and be sure to tell us how your project reflects your thankful heart."
I was thrilled as I love fall with the beautiful colors, leaves, family and thankful for all of these things.
I am not going to share the details now but will be sharing them later on the Frilly and Funkie blog.
I did want to show that I created the card without the acorns and decided to go out looking for some caps to paint in gold and add to the card. I think it adds a nice layer of texture and fun!
A few close ups of the leaves showing off their beautiful colors!
The winner will earn the chance of a Guest Designer spot at Frilly and Funkie, and everyone who enters and follows the rules will go into the draw for the chance to win a $25 spending spree at The Funkie Junkie Boutique. And there are Top 3 Badges for three further outstanding entries, chosen by the Design Team.
Thanks for stopping by!

My word, Suzz! What a stunning and elegant fall card! I love those bee's wax looking gilt edged leaves and how you've layered them with the golden acorn caps! And this all tops a stunning background! I am thankful for your inspiration! Sending hugs!
ReplyDeleteThis is stunning with those gorgeous leaves. I can't wait to see how they came together.

Another jaw on floor card Suzz! I am desperate to find out how you created this as it is absolutely stunning! Those delicious leaves look like stained glass and you've made the perfect background to compliment them xx
ReplyDeleteYour foliage on this card looks so real. The gold acorns is such a beautiful accent against those colorful leaves.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Suzz!

Suzz, this is so elegant! I love the way you've used gold on the tops of those acorns. You turned them into little gems! I'm on pins and needles for the tutorial for this one, as every detail is just scrumptious. Thank you for always inspiring me! xoxoxxo
