Happy weekend everyone.... I am back to share another one of the tags I was working on previously. This tag is inspired from Tim's November Tag.
I feel like all I have been creating is tags but there have been cards I have created but not shared. :) I have had a few sent out to friends which were very cute and CAS.
I also have a few projects in work for upcoming challenges that will not be a tag, I promise. :)
This tag started with using gold rub-ons as you can see here:
I decided to do peppermint colors of a softer pink and lighter green colors. I got stuck and decided to switch back to the original technique with the resist showing the white spaces.
I pulled out warm colors and inked up the surface with the fossilized amber and aged mahogany.
Then I needed a large stamp to color and try to raise the surfaces using Tim's techniques. I ended up with the butterfly as it was the largest stamp which worked with my background. I loved using up the bits and pieces form the rub-ons on the background.
Well that is it for me today! I hope you enjoy your Sunday!

Halloween Fun
Tim's tag for October is a fun mix of metal monsters and a grid background.
The main focal image was a bit of a problem for me as I don't have any of the monster die cuts and had to come up with a different image to use. I decided to emboss multiple pieces of foil and paint them with black paint.
After that I tried using the frames and other images as pieces on my tag. After awhile I thought wouldn't it be cool if there was a big spider die? (As long as it is fake I can deal with the size of the spider) I decided to try to create my own spider using a few embossed pieces from various folders. The compass embossing folder gave the coolest pattern to the body of my spider. The head is from the ledger embossing folder. The legs are from various pieces left over from my different sheets.
I was happy to use up some of the fun ephemera for Halloween sitting in my files in the grid pattern. I coated it with the collage medium (sepia) and used a charcoal pencil for shading.
I did pop the spider and bowed her body a bit.
She received a bit of sequins and gems to highlight her look. I stamped the sentiment and cut it out to add to the front of the tag.
Have a wonderful weekend!

February Tag
Hello! Time for Tim's February Tag of 2016. His tag is a beautiful Valentine's tag using a few of his fun techniques from last year's tags. I ended up with about 8 different backgrounds and used this one to create my take on his tag.
I played around with a variety of stencils to do my mono print and I like how the clock stencil gave a strong imprint of color.
I used the travel theme on my tag instead of Valentine's. The background is antique linen with a mix of a gold shimmer spray. I then inked up the stencil with Ground Expresso and misted it and placed it on my background.
I then stenciled the words with embossing paste and added Penny Copper Embossing powder. I stamped the little boy (Artistic Outpost) using Ranger Archival Ink - Sepia. I sponged the numbers from the stencil using ground expresso.
Have a happy Tuesday!
