How do we measure ourselves?

The Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge  is inky backgrounds.  The Dina Wakely All the Gals set had me thinking about how we measure ourselves.
This inspired a journal page with a inky background using shimmery yellow mist  which happened to be the end of the bottle and I just poured it out and ran it all over my background.  I added a lovely mix of Peacock Feather Ranger Distress Spray over the top.I knew I wanted to create a journal page.  I decided to be inspired by the Dina Wakely
I stenciled a bit of embossing paste over the measuring layering stencil and then mixed in the words form the stamp set along with spelling out Measure.

The color palette is drool-worthy and I love how even the text in the background paper seems relevant to the topic. The stenciled ruler looks amazing and I adore the words you chose to highlight.
