I'm back!

Welcome back!  The Funkie Junkie Boutique Challenge is back!  With a fabulous new design team (although I am very sad to see some of the design team members leave) and new challenges!

The first challenge is Anything Goes hosted by the inspirational Jenny Marples!

I had gotten some of the new wallpapers and other items from the latest Tim Holtz Idea-Ology release and couldn't wait to play with them.

I started by cutting different shapes with a thin piece of cardboard.   I cut a few tags and a square background.  I painted the worn wallpaper with a thin coat of white paint.

After it dried I covered the cardboard with the wallpaper.  I then used the flowers to pop up with pop dots and attached them tot he tags.

I trimmed the edges with some of the linen tape.

I taped on the top tag and attached it using the linen tape.  I added a contrasting sheet of wallpaper behind the tag when it flips open.

I mixed in some fun ideo-ology charms and remnant rub-ons to finish the accents on the card. I accented the flowers with a few glass seed beads.

Come play along with us in the new challenge!  You can win a chance to be a Guest Designer at The Funkie Junkie Boutique blog, and everyone who enters and follows the rules will go into the draw for the chance to win a $25 spending spree at The Funkie Junkie Boutique. There are also Top 3 Badges for three additional outstanding entries, chosen by the Design Team.

  1. Love this to bits Suzz, with all your trademark beautiful collaging with that lovely lace trim and wonderful flowers x

  2. Beautiful card, Suzz and I love the clever way the tag opens. This is so romantic with the lace trim and floral tape to accent those pretty Worn Wallpaper scraps. Wait, no stamping?! Miss you already!

Thank you for stopping by and spending a little time here with me on my blog!
