Dare to Dream

Howdy!  The new challenge at Frilly and Funkie is called "Letter Perfect" and hosted by the very creative Sara Emily.

Here is what she has to say about the challenge:

"According to Merriam Webster, 'letter perfect' is defined as "correct to the smallest detail". We're not asking you to be immaculate or flawless; we just want to see letters or words on your vintage or shabby chic project. They don't have to be the focus, but be sure we can see them!"

I love this image and how happy she looks with her cute outfit.  Reminds me of the year my younger sister wore a bright red cowgirl outfit all summer.  It consisted of a red vest with a fake fringe and a little skirt with the same fringe.  She loved that outfit and of course it had a matching red cowboy hat!

I just acquired some new remnant rubs Tiny Text and had to use them for my letters and inspiring words in the background.

I am saving a technique I used on the background of the card until layer this month.  I will showcase the technique on a Saturday Showcase on the Frilly and Funkie blog.

Come join us in the fun for an opportunity to be a Guest Designer  at Frilly and Funkie, and everyone who enters and follows the rules will go into the draw for the chance to win a $25 spending spree at The Funkie Junkie Boutique.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. How FUN! Suzz, I love your playful spirit and how it spills into your creations! This card is amazing! I love the stars and the lasso that creates great movement on your card. I agree with you, those Tiny Text Remnant Rubs are the best for adding some great words to projects. I can't wait for the tutorial! Hugs!

  2. Suzz, I haven't picked up this folder yet because I have a stash of woodgrain cardstock I need to use up first. But your inking of it makes me want to get busy! I just love this darling girl and your fun use of these sentiments. Hugs, Autumn
