Bright Blossoms

The new Bright Blossoms stamps are perfect for bringing sunshine into someone's day.

I knew when I saw this lovely flower that I was going to be using yellows and oranges. I started by creating a background using the Creativity Wordblock and orange and yellow dye inks on white cardstock.  I cut the background to size and distress the edges.  I repeated the steps on a second piece of white cardstock and stamped the flower using the orange dye ink. I stamped the Thank You sentiment using the orange dye ink.
I distressed the edges on all the layers.  I added a ribbon and pop dotted the main panel over the background.

My second card uses the lovely rose stamp from the Bright Blossoms set. .
I created the main panel first with the rose stamped in soft pink on white cardstock. I added the lovely thank you stamped over the image with a black ink.  I then wanted a background and created a panel with repeating the rose but changing the angle of the stamped image.  I added a doily behind my main image and attached everything to a white cardbase. The roses are lovely.  I think this would make a fantastic thank you card for wedding or shower gifts.

Have a creative day!

Enjoy Life

The Bright Blossoms collection offers beautiful photos of flowers and is perfect for this time of year where in the Midwest in the U.S. we are still experiencing cold and snow.

I stamped the Stone background using the Stone Background Stamp and black ink on white cardstock.  I distressed the edges of the flower and added a hint of white acrylic paint to the image.

I stamped the butterfly from the Butterfly Garden Collage using black ink and colored with watercolor pencils.  I added the words Enjoy Life to the tag from the lovely Enjoy Life stamp set.

I created a second tag using the Bright Blossoms Filmstrip:

I used the Corrugated Iron Background Stamp on the background stamped in gray ink on the white cardstock.  I cut out and distressed the edges of the flower images.  I cut out the letters from the Venetian Wordstrip and attached them to the flowers. I punched a few butterflies from the other flowers to add a nice pop of color on each flower.

Have a lovely day,

Suzz
