Butterflies & Postcards

Hello! I am back with another card.  I was playing around with a new Butterfly Post collage stamp from DarkRoom Door to create a card for the Fashionable Stamping Challenge of Anything Goes!
and for the Moxie Fab World The Wonder of Watercolor Challenge.

 The stamp provides the sweetest grid pattern with a mix of butterflies and postcards. 

I stamped the image using Ranger Archival black ink.  I then had fun coloring each grid with a combination of greens, oranges, yellows and blues using STAEDTLER watercolor pencils.  I softened the effect with a waterbrush. After everything dried I used an exacto knife to cut the wings of the butterfly up to let them float.

I added a No. 36 on the side from the DarkRoom Door Vintage Office set.  This would be a perfect birthday card for someone turning 36. :)
