Art Creations Friday Challenge # 9

ACF Challenge # 8 is this pretty little girl:
I framed her out with a page from an old book which I masked and sponged with a pink color. I then mounted it on a tan cardstock with a light tan inked damask stamp.

I added some antique lace and velvet ribbon and paper flowers.

Thanks for stopping by...

  1. I love this! Has everything I like on a card: A great image, great BG paper, lace -- and a shade of pink:)

  2. This is lovely Suzanne, what a great idea xx

  3. My heart went out to this one - can't help it - vintage image, pink, script, lace etc. - the perfect combination for a beautiful, special card!

  4. Such a beautiful image. I like that you mounted on a book page. So appropriate for the school girl.

  5. what a beautiful artwork!!!
thanks for this lovely entry to ACF

  6. Oh, Sue, this is just beautiful. I especially love the stamped book page as a mat. I'm a sucker for vintage, but so many people get carried away with the collaging it turns into a muddy mess with the picture being overwhelmed. Not here, though! Superb job!!!

  7. What a gorgeous card, love everything about it!

  8. I love everything about this vintage vision in pink! Lovely!

  9. First, she is just so pretty to begin with! and then what you did just really accentuates her more. The vintage look is perfect and love the colors you chose and that lace!!!

Thank you for stopping by and spending a little time here with me on my blog!
