Dreamweaver & Stampendous - Time Flies

Welcome to today's fun Dreamweaver Stencils' Dream Team and Stampendous Design Teams hop.  There are multiple opportunities to win some fabulous prizes from both companies. Each day this week, both the Stampendous Impressions' blog or the Dream It Up! blog are sharing wonderful projects which pair up fabulous products from both companies. Everyone will be playing on Saturday, the 14th with the final hop for the week.

For my project today  I created a wall hanging and then a card:

On this project I took a piece of slate and applied some of the wonderful Embossing paste - White using the wonderful Paste Spreader and the beautiful LJ896 Flourish stencil and applied it to the slate.  I then sprinkled some ultra fine Stampendous Blue Ultra Fine Pastel Glitter to the surface and let dry. I finished off the edges of the slate by smearing Versamark Watermark Ink around the edges and embossing with Aged Bronze Embossing Enamel

The main panel was created by laying the stencil LL3012 onto white cardstock and spraying it with a blue green chalkboard glimmer mist.  I didn't want to lose the mist on the top of the stencil, so I carefully moved the stencil into a clean area with the mist still on the stencil and laid a new piece of white cardstock onto the stencil and pressed down to pick up the excess glimmer mist.  This became my image.

I stamped the Dream Text using brown ink over the stencil image.  I cut my image to size.  I then waited for it to completely dry before the next step.  Stamp the beautiful damask using versamark in the right hand corner. Heat emboss using Aged Bronze Embossing Enamel.   Stamp the lovely rose hips on the top left corner using Versamark.  Heat emboss using Aged Bronze Embossing Enamel.

Stamp Time Flies along the top using brown ink.  Stamp the Lone Bird using Versamark on white cardstock. Heat emboss using Aged Bronze Embossing Enamel. Cut out. Layer bird onto corner of background. Mount on brown cardstock and assemble onto slate background.

After I finished my wall hanging I thought how it would look lovely on a card and I made a card using the panel:

The background is glimmer misted to coordinate with the main panel.

Be sure to leave comments as you tour the blogs (with your email addy!) for a chance to win* one of three combined sets of these Dreamweaver and Stampendous goodies:

Unfortunately I haven't got time to do the hop Sue, :(, but I had to leave a comment on these two beautiful designs. The colour of that Chalk Glimmer Mist is so soft and lovely and I also love that beautiful EP. Equally gorgeous whether on the slate or the card and wonderful combination of the products.
