I'm back with my revised Anniversary card for my DH. I spent a few minutes yesterday changing out a few details to make it more masculine. :)
I took out the coral colors and replace the paper with kraft and rust colored chevron. I re-arranged the layout a little too.
I thought I would share the new card just to show the difference a few changes make. :)
The card from yesterday:
Thanks for stopping by!

Both are beautiful, Suzz! Love those hearts!
ReplyDeleteForgot to say Happy Anniversary!! :)
ReplyDeletedefinitely love your take II, the change out of the coral was perfect and love how you added the 21 :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversry, my friend! Love both of these, but yes, I agree that the addition of more kraft makes it more manly!
ReplyDeleteThis is just a super card and I'm sure he will just love it

Wow, I got so far behind on your blog Sue but I always have to try and leave a comment on all your wonderful designs. I missed out the blog hop one (which is fabulous) as I haven't got time to do the hop :( and the previous post as I'll comment on both cards here.
ReplyDeleteI liked your card before you altered it but do agree that it perhaps was a little feminine. The slight changes you made have not detracted from the card at all but have created a more masculine feel. I'm sure your Hubby will be well pleased to receive this lovely card.
I've really enjoyed my catch up :)!

Subtle changes to make a really big difference - and though I really love the first version, I think you were probably right to make the changes - this new version is fabulous. Happy anniversary again!

Happy Anniversary my friend. I am sure your hubby is going to enjoy this.

Happy Anniversary Suzanne! I like the altered version, I thought the pink ribbon underneath the hearts on the first one was a bit distracting.
ReplyDeleteI do like both versions Sue but I think you did the right thing with the changes you made and it works really well as a masculine card now.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully altered Suzz, Like this more masculine look but still lovely with the hearts
