Christmas Tag

I am back with my second tag...   I am playing along with Linda's Funkie Junkie Tags and this one is inspired by week #5 sponsored by her Funkie Junkie Boutique.   


Linda's tag had a sweet Santa image framed out in the center of the tag.  I started with wooden frame which I backed with a stamped image of Father Christmas.  I stained the frame with brown distress stain and added hints of gold with gold paint and embossing paste.  The background is a mix of paints, stamping, tissue paper, and distress inks. I died ribbon and lace to coordinate.

    Oh my goodness, what a show stopper this is, Sue! I absolutely love the colors and textures. The background with the clock is perfect and that frame for Father Christmas is perfect. Beautiful lace too. You really knocked it out of the park with this one!
