Isn't that a beautiful quote. I unfortunately have needed more sympathy cards lately than I have wanted. This is the perfect stamp and I decided to create two of the same card slightly changing up the way I created my background and my accents.
I started with first just inking up the embossing folder on the flat side with Cool Peri ink and spritzing it with water and pressing my cardstock onto the open folder. After I did that I decided to do the same thing but run it through the embossing folder closed in the Big Shot.
It is hard to see in the photo but the image becomes more pronounced and the ink pools more around the image making it pop. The quote was stamped with the Ranger Archival Blue Violet.
After that I had to keep making more prints in different colors.
I mixed the shabby shutters with the new mermaid lagoon. I love this one and I will have to save it for a future card.
Then I decided to move onto the Butterfly.
I had this little girl stamped on my desk and hadn't used her yet so I decided to put her one of my backgrounds. The colors are abandoned coral and squeezed lemonade.
Here is worn lipstick top left corner and abandoned coral bottom right corner.
Have a great day!

They are all fabulous! I love that quote, too. I will have to look for that stamp.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous Suzz, love both the delicacy of the first designs and the bolder palette in the following two. That sentiment is fabulous. Tracy x
