I started with the Basically Bare - Dress Form Die cut and the Basically Bare - Angel Wings. I painted the form with white gesso and then sponged with antique linen.
I then took the lace and spritzed it with Tarnished Brass Stain Spray and then layered it on the dress form. The background was stamped with the Memory Box - Dream stamp. I found this bunch of holly in my Christmas Stash and added it to the waist.
The wings were covered with Idea-Ology Shimmery gold paper. I then just stained a few flowers with the tarnished brass added a little glitter and made a flowery necklace.
My second project is two canvas hearts.
I stitched together two canvas hearts with a little stuffing inside. The outside is simple with a little gold embossing paste using the doily stencil from Tim Holtz. After it dried I spritzed with a pink mist.
I don't sew so this was a labor of love. If I had a sewing machine and knew how to use it I would have quickly sewn the edges. I love the rustic feel of the whip stitch.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
Frilly and Funkie - Tis the Season
A Vintage Journey's - Vintage Christmas
Thanks for stopping by!

Love your decorations Suzz. Love the combination of the pink and gold together . And the dress form is very in at the moment. Looking around Facebook recently there have been shops decorating dress forms with the skirt piece like a Christmas tree. X X X
