We had a big blast of snow in November which was followed by incredibly mild days and melted away. Now we are a few days before Christmas and there is just a light dusting of snow on the ground. It won't be a winter wonderland this week. I decided to create a card based on the snow that we like to see at Christmas.
I started with a background of some yummy silver and blue mists on watercolor paper. I followed it up with some stamped snowflakes in a lovely navy ink. I finished it off with a layered snowflake with silver, blue and white layers. A few jingle bells and a simple Christmas card ready to give to a friend.

No snow here either, I'm afraid. I'm sure we'll see it at some point, though! This is a wonderful representation of how lovely the snow is, Sue - beautifully done! Sending along Christmas greetings and hugs!

Gorgeous layered snowflake and that background is stunning. I don't think there's any way we'll be seeing a white Christmas round here... it's unseasonably warm - there are flower bulbs coming up, and yesterday I removed a large and busy wasp from the house!!

ReplyDeleteHands down, BEST snowflake I've seen this entire season! I love how it has so many layers and is almost like an exotic flower of some sort, yet it's totally frosty and perfectly winterized. Once again, your ideas inspire and stun!
