Paperboy

Hi!  I have been on vacation and decided to jump back into playing with my inky supplies.  I started by sorting through old backgrounds waiting to be used. I found a card with a background already taped on and decided to go with it!

I pulled out my Artistic Outpost stamps looking for some of my favorite images. I love this Paperboy image and decided to make him my focal point.
I stamped him in brown and added hints of color with watercolor pencils and brushes.  I then decided to use the truck in the background to add another layer. I stamped the image again in brown and added a touch of shading to make it pop.

I then pulled a bunch of metal embellishments to add texture to my card.  The background is a mix of stencil with embossing paste and layered sprays.

I am entering this in A Vintage Journey's Stencil It challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!
