Play Date Cafe Challenge #38

Look at these lovely flowers!  Hand picked by Sarah!  What beautiful colors for the challenge at the Play Date Cafe Challenge this week.

Not only do we have these beautiful colors to work with for this weeks challenge we also have a special sponsor.  Our fantastic sponsor this week is Artistic Outpost .

The Artistic Outpost design team is also playing along with the Play Date Cafe challenge this week.
Go check out the Artistic Outpost blog and  the AO design team!

For my cards this week I used the lovely Bloom and Grow set. The seed packet stamp is so fun as the center is left empty so you can place any other image in the middle to create your own customized flower pack. I have ideas for the future about creating little seed packs for my MIL as she is always planting new flowers in her garden.

While playing I always make so many scraps, so I decided to move on and use the another stamped image and create another card to share.

The ribbon flower on this card was created from Pink Paislee trim. I rolled it up to create a flower and hand cut a few leaves. I think it turned out fun.

Products:
  • Artistic Outpost - Bloom & Grow
  • Cuttlebug Embossing Folder - Wood Grain, Floral
  • Corner Rounder Punch
  • Ranger Embossing Powder -Lettuce
  • Pink Paislee - Trim
  • Ranger Distress Inks - Dusty Concord
  • Versamark Watermark Ink
  • Watercolor Pencils
  • Glitter
  • Glue Pen
  • American Crafts Ribbon
  • Versafine - Imperial Purple
  • EK Success Punch
  • Toothpicks
  • Twine
The rest of the Play Date Cafe design team also created some beautiful projects using the inspiration colors and  Artistic Outpost Stamps.

I am really looking forward to a week of lime green, lilac and purple cards!  I anticipate a bouquet of cards!
