Dream, Fly, Soar

Welcome to day 2 of the STAEDTLER and Stampendous Blog Hop!  The design teams from both companies are sharing projects all week long.  The STAEDTLER design team members have a sweet summer package to give away  and Stampendous is picking a winner every day to win a prize package.

My project is a layout using the fabulous STAEDTLER watercolor pencils and a new set of clear stamps from Stampendous!

I stamped the Air Scapes balloons using black archival ink on white cardstock.  I colored with the STAEDTLER watercolor pencils and a waterbrush to coordinate with the pattern papers.  I stamped the words using the new Stampendous Big Top Type alpha stamps.

The background has a slight misting of glimmer mist in yellow and pinks. The photo is of my youngest from a few years ago. The background is mounted on green cardstock.

Each  STAEDTLER designer is giving away this fabulous Sweet Summer prize package shown below!  To be eligible to win, please leave a comment on this blog post by Wednesday May 29th, 11:59pm CDT.  I'll use the Random Number generator to select a winner, and will post the winner here on my blog on Friday, May 31st.

The "Sweet Summer" Giveaway includes the following:
1 Set of 6 Triplus fineliners, pastel assortment
4 blocks of FIMO soft oven-bake clay in vanilla, peach, lilac and mint
1 Mars plastic eraser
1 Double hole metal pencil sharpener
1 Mars Lumograph sketch pencil
1 Pigment liner sketch pen
2 Creative idea brochures

Stampendous will be giving away a prize every day to one lucky winner!  The winner will be chosen from comments left on the participating designers blogs for that day. So make sure to hop over and see what everyone has created!

  3. I'm so excited about this team up this week. I'm such a fan of both companies that this has already been a great "blog hop" so far! I love the close-up pic you used of her precious rosey smile and the colors you used to surround her are just perfect! "Dream, fly, soar" with pink, yellow and green hot air balloons all around! The glimmer mists helped fill in any "white" area and finished off this layout perfectly!
