Just sharing something I played with yesterday. Still felling a little blah so I pulled out this card from my scrap pile that had the trees stamped across the front. I decided to use a little white crayon resist on the tree branches.
Sorry about the color. I took the pictures 3 times and it still looked like this. My lights must have been at the wrong angle. Anyways...
I sponged the background using 4 different Ranger Distress Inks. (Faded Jeans, Broken China, Peeled Paint, Shabby Shutters)
The sky was the most fun as I added snow using my gel pen.
The trees (Hero Arts) and sentiment (Hero Arts - Silent Night) were stamped using Versafine Vintage Sepia. I added color to the tree trunk with my colored pencils.
So simple and easy. Felt like I should have mounted the picture but I was using it as an entry into the Hero Arts Blog challenge which was simple holiday cards.
Thanks for stopping by... Have a wonderful day!
