I bought this dreamy bottle awhile ago and have been holding onto it. The lovely lilac color is what drew me to it. Perfect for spring. Than along came the Simon Says Stamp and Show a bottle challenge and a perfect time to play with the bottle.
The bottle was plain lilac glass when I purchased it. I had to pick between all my frame stamps and decided that the Stampendous Amore Frame Clear Set was the one I was going to work with. The heart frame is gorgeous! I stamped it on the perfect tissue paper that comes with the Stampendous Acetate. Stamped with versamark and embossed using the Stampendous Tinsel glitter. I cut the frame out using my detail scissors and applied it with water and glue. I was pleased with the effect.
The next step was to dig through my flowers and embellishments. I pulled out the metal butterfly charm and embossed it with the same embossing powder. I glimmer misted some ribbon to coordinate. The flowers were already glimmer misted and painted from a previous project. The stickpins are for a friend of mine who has a birthday coming up. I made her a few different ones. (Now she is going to be short two!) :) I will have to make her a few more.
I finished off the decorations with a stamped Amore. I had a cork for the bottle but decided to leave it open to put flowers in.
Hope your Tuesday is off to a good start!

this would look stunning on a dressing table Suzz. It is really beautifully done.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful and so feminine it would look fantastic in my bedroom.....just my colours. Will have to try the stamping on tissue as I've never done that and the effect is beautiful. Glad oyou didn't put the cork in it's just asking for some spring flowers, whenever they decide to appear. Lol
