Golden Christmas

I am catching up to Linda and her Holiday Tag challenge.  She is on Tag #12 and it is a beauty! Her challenge is sponsored by her store The Funkie Junkie Boutique.

Usually with the tags I am inspired and end up playing around and trying new things. This time I actually went back and re-read her instructions because I loved the effect she had on her tag with the gold touches.  I actually made around 5 tag attempts with this and this was the closest I got to hers.

My first few attempts I ended up with the tag being completely gold.
I used the following products:  Wendy Vecchi Gold Embossing Paste, Ranger Queens Gold Embossing Powder, Ranger Distress Stains - Tarnished Gold, Versamark Watermark Ink Pad, Ranger Archival Ink - Coffee, Hero Arts stamps, Penny Black - Joy Sentiment, Dylusions - White Spray, Tim Holtz Stencil

Have a wonderful day!

  4. They are both fabulous, Sue! I love the silhouette of the children on the top one - it looks beautiful in gold. And the bottom one is wonderful too. Love the nativity and the brown matting. Now you have two lovely tags!

    Hugs,
    Linda
