Thank you! This blog post is a thank you for all my online blogging friends and followers. I have an assortment of goodies that I am giving away:
All you have to do is leave a comment of what you are thankful for. We are fast approaching the U.S. Holiday for thanksgiving which is a time to give thanks. I am thankful for my family, friends, our health, the food on our table and that we have shelter over our head. I am sending prayers for our East Coast families who are going without right now.
To have a chance to win my blog candy, leave a comment on this post by 11/11/2012 11:59 PM CST and I will randomly select one winner of my blog candy. I will post the winner on my blog on 11/12/2012.
Thank you!
Suzz

ReplyDeletefor sharing your joy with us in this lovely way!
I am especially thankful about my son finally having regaining his self-confidence after having lost it due to a teacher, that couldn't deal with his dyslexia. She thought he was a lazy and uninterested pupil and treated him accordingly. We finally changed school and the teachers there are sooo loving and caring! We had such great luck. My son is laughing again and trusting his own abilities. It changed the whole family's life after loads of tears, self-hatred and a kid, that thought of himself as stupid and useless. I celebrate that nearly every day when I see my son laughing and being a happy kid.
Hugs,
die amelie xx

Thank you for offering the chance of blog candy firsly. Me, I am thankful for my family and all the wonderful hospital staff and surgeons, without whose skills my disabled son would be in terrible discomfort. I am also grateful for technology, not you see in the usual way, but that a computer has been developed using eye gaze only!!!! Which allows my son who has severe Cerebral Palsy to now, after 15 years, speak to us through his computer. It was the most amazing thing to see him spell mum and tell the computer to say the words. So I am eternally grateful for the power of the mind

What a lovely post and comments to read - lifts your heart - so I'm thankful for that to start with. And I'm constantly grateful for the love and support of my family and friends; for the gift of doing work that I love; for the wonders you can see daily in the natural world; and the luxury of living a life where my material needs are met and I therefore get to explore the creative and spiritual needs which I believe are also vital to the human experience.

ReplyDeleteHi Suz,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely thought to have a pre-holiday giveaway!
Luckily we missed the brunt of the storm, living in New Hampshire we only went without power for two days and without water (pump for well was knocked out)but was back up on the 3rd day. Lots of trees, branches down and most of what was left of our leaves but the real damage hit my past home of NYC! I count my blessings!
However, what I am thankful for is friends like you who generously share their art and techniques with us without a second thought and then give even more with little giveaways sprinkled throughout!
Hugs and thanks for a chance to win this fab package of goodies!
Beth P
