Auld Lang Syne is a collection of turn
of early twentieth century New Year related images. Nine
bold images make up this collection and were designed to complement the Picture Star rubber stamps featuring images from the same era.
Cowgirl Strength is all about girl power and knowing her own
strength. Ten unique images complete this collection
including bandanna trim and stitching as well as three fierce and
gorgeous cowgirls.
The cowgirls and sentiments are all irresistible. I had a hard time picking which gal to stamp up first. I finally decided on Annie Oakley (my nickname for her)
I paired or treyed her up with with a set of aces. I smeared the card with a touch of acrylic paint to give a surface to stamp the image on. I added a hint of color to the image using STAEDTLER karat Aquarell watercolor pencils.
I had this fantastic denim pattern paper which I edged with the stitching stamp. I added a few stars, twine and burlap for texture. Any of the sentiments would have been perfect with the image.
The Auld Lang Syne plate had me singing snippets of the song while creating Holiday Decor and cards:
